Undergraduate Opportunities
Fall 2023 Update: The PsychLing Lab currently is not taking new undergrad research assistants. If you would like to be considered in later semesters, please feel free to still send an email following the guidelines below. We will keep your interest email on file, and reach out to you once we are able to support more undergraduate research assistants. Thank you for your continued interest!
Undergraduate Research Assistants are a crucial part of lab operations, and we are always looking to involve passionate undergraduates. If our current projects match your research interests, consider becoming a research assistant!
Undergraduate Research Assistants are typically involved in tasks such as scheduling and running participants, providing written transcriptions, digitalizing data, recording stimuli, and much more. In the past, undergraduate students have also designed and ran their own experiments as part of an honors requirement, independent study, or to simply gain experience. You don't need any experience to get involved, as you will be trained on everything you need to know after you join our lab.
Undergraduates have the option of volunteering their time, receiving class credit in exchange for their time, or receive pay as either as work-study or as a job. If you choose to receive credit, you will need to devote at least 3 hours/week for 15 weeks per credit you wish to earn (e.g., 1 credit = 3 hours/week for 15 weeks, 2 credits = 6hours/week for 15 weeks, etc.).
If this opportunity excites you, please email [email protected] with the following info:
We look forward to hearing from you!
